"Choctail" Parties
Looking for some chocolate-inspired socializing? Our "Choctail" Parties offer a selection of unique treats paired with their perfect complement. Cocoa + Co founder, Kim Hack, is a certified Sommelier who enjoys finding just the right balance to make the evening's event a memorable experience. The casual "walk-around" format encourages everyone to sip and mingle as they compare favorite bonbons and bars.
Bubbles + Bonbons: Did your group nail that big project? Or maybe you just want to celebrate all being in the same city for a moment. Let’s pop some sparklers and toast the team!
Craft Beer + Craft Chocolate: Many makers say their favorite way to enjoy their latest batch of chocolate is with a brew. Whether it’s a crisp Lager, Imperial Stout, or a malty Ale, we’ve got a match that will surprise you.
Reserve Bourbon + Rare Beans: The rich flavors of bourbon and chocolate are a classic pairing, balancing bitter and sweet. We’ll pull out all the stops, showcasing some of our most sought-after bars with distinctive spirits.
These fun events are designed to get people talking and enjoying each other's company while still imparting some knowledge about what we're tasting. Whether hosted as a private event in your own venue, or at a restaurant, hotel or club, we’ll put together an enlightening and entertaining evening.
Large Gatherings
When we started out doing tasting classes, we thought an intimate group was the only way to convey our love of chocolate. But we were wrong. So wrong!
We’ve done dessert course lectures at sit-down galas, interactive booths at international conferences, Brand Activations at sporting events, and even created classes for on-line audiences in the hundreds. Turns out there’re a million ways to share the secrets and seduction of chocolate with larger groups.
Let us create the perfect complement to your event!
Speaking Engagements
Sometimes it’s not all about chocolate. Sometimes it is. Either way, Cocoa + Co.’s founder, Kim Hack, loves to share her thoughts, stories and expertise. She has taken the stage at TedX to talk about the culinary travels of cacao throughout history, shared her experiences as a boot-strapping entrepreneur with young professionals, demo’d her latest chocolate creations on the news, hosted a symposium on Food Systems and spoken at numerous wine events. She combines deep knowledge and insight with humor and charm to fully engage her audience, no matter which of her passions is the topic.
